Oh my heck, it's been two months since my last blog... heh. no, the blog hasn't gone dead yet or anything. i was just caught in the As... and well, i made this little deal with god. that if i gave up the internet for a month, he'd give me four As for my A levels. and er, i know some of my christian friends have been telling me it doiesn't work that way, but i'm not taking any chances. hee. i did come on the internet, but only if it was absolutely necessary. like filling in my psc application form, and sublitting essays for psc and queen mary college application. so... i guess the big guy up there wouldn't mind, ne? (and the deal ends today on christmas cos i assume he'll be in a good mood cos it's his birthday...)

and on that note, MERRY CHRISTMAS! -hurls confetti at the readers of her blog... all 2 of them- heh. i wonder how many people gave up coming here cos it was static for so long. but i'll be blogging a lot more regularly now. cos, school's... over. sigh.

did my regular year-end ritual of watching lord of the rings with mel and audrey. sigh. it's always this emptiness that envelopes me after the end of the film. it's this... strange feeling. like i want to do something like that too... i want to ride with the rohirrim. to have something to fight for, and someone to die for... i can still hear the sound of the galloping horses... i wish i could just ride out. imagine the freedom. sigh... the comraderie. the feeling that i am no lesser man without a purpose. and the sense of unity as you line up, and you know you might die, but you do not fear. the sound of the horns. the sound of the sword clashing against the spears...

it's silly isn't it. after all, it's just a movie. but i want so badly sometimes to be a part of something like that, despite my pratchett-sensibilities kicking in and saying 'you hero' in the tone of 'you idiot'.

will blog more tomorrow. about prom and driving lessons and terry pratchett and the a levels. sigh.

because i bizarrely really liked the picture of rukia that i drew, i made a [depressive] blog layout out of it. go me. and look-- so many shades of grey! and the font used on the separator is goodbye cruel world. isn't this just a basketful of sunshine. depressive header title is the title of the instrumental theme that plays in the episode where rukia leaves karakura for soul society. kuchiki rukia is from the manga/anime series Bleach and belongs to Kubo Taito, yo. art belongs to meMeME.
